The Keystone Pipeline System spans 4,327 km (2,689 miles) and plays a key role in delivering Canadian and U.S. crude oil supplies to U.S. refining markets in Illinois, Oklahoma and Texas. Our footprint is uniquely positioned, providing unparalleled, enduring, and direct access to the largest refining markets in the Midwest and the Gulf Coast. Our network of pipelines safely transports 15% of the crude oil coming out of the world-class Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin (WCSB) and we have strategically located storage terminals in Canada and the U.S., including Hardisty, AB; Cushing, OK; and Houston/Port Arthur, TX.
We have transported 3.9+ billion barrels of crude oil since operations began in 2010

South Bow has commenced an open season for petroleum transportation service from Hardisty to U.S. delivery points
South Bow GP (Canada) Ltd., as general partner on behalf of South Bow (Canada) Limited Partnership, and South Bow (USA) LP have commenced an open season to solicit binding commitments for long-term petroleum firm transportation service from Hardisty, Alberta to multiple U.S. delivery points, including, Cushing, Oklahoma, and destinations on the U.S. Gulf Coast. The open season offers approximately 450,000 barrels per day of firm service transportation capacity. Carriers reserve the right to adjust such capacity based on shipper interest.
The open season will remain open until 12:00 p.m. Mountain Time on March 30, 2026. Following the close of the open season, carriers will have up to 60 days to determine whether they have received sufficient binding commitments to support advancement of the proposed project.
Bona fide prospective shippers that can demonstrate market demand for incremental egress opportunities from Hardisty, Alberta may request a confidentiality agreement by contacting open.season@southbow.com. Upon execution of a confidentiality agreement acceptable to carriers, the open season package will be provided. Carriers will evaluate all requests for confidentiality agreements and open season materials in a consistent and non-discriminatory manner, ensuring that similarly situated shippers are treated equitably.
The Keystone Pipeline System is governed according to regulations outlined by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and the Canada Energy Regulator (CER), which replaced the National Energy Board (NEB) in August 2019.
